Ham and Mushroom Stuffed French Toast

How to make ham and mushroom stuffed french toast

6 eggs
4ozs mushroom
6 tablespoons milk
Ham (of your choice)
Olive oil
Black pepper to taste

Medium frying pan
Wide bottomed bowl
Baking tray

Gently fry 4 ozs mushrooms in 2 tablespoons olive oil in a medium frying pan
Whisk the eggs, milk and black pepper (to taste)
Add some more olive oil to frying pan, at least one tablespoon
Soak the bread in the egg mixture, do this one piece at a time to prevent the bread from becoming sodden
Keep whisking the mixture because the black pepper settles
Soak each piece of bread and fry each side of the bread until golden brown
Place one slice of bread on the baking tray, put the ham and mushrooms
on the bread and then place the second slice of bread on top
Place in the oven for 5 minutes at 170 degrees C
